We know finding time for planning is one of the hardest things for a small business. But not giving yourself time and help to plan can lead to loss of direction, unpleasant surprises in cashflow or the bottom line, fire-fighting, missed opportunities and regrets.

And did you know only half of small businesses survive to see their 5th birthday and research has demonstrated those with plans have much more chance of avoiding problems? And are likely to grow 30% quicker?

What would you do with a few days to focus, being looked after, with no chores or distractions, and expert advice on hand?

    • Crack that business plan?
    • Nail those cash projections?
    • Research new markets?
    • Write the copy for your website?
    • ....................fill in the gap

You can select workshops to help from the programme, have one-to-ones with us, spend time working on your own or bring your team.

How much does it cost and what's included?

4 nights in a beautiful country house with optional workshops, peer support and one-to one expert advice. £895 inclusive of your own room and full board with delicious vegetarian meals and some wines. (£795 for Early Bird bookings).

    Where is it?

Nanpantan Hall, a private estate in 30 acres of Leicestershire countryside. 2 miles from Junction 23 of the M1 and 2 miles from Loughborough Mainline Railway station. All the rooms we are using are on the ground floor and there are accessible bedrooms including one fitted for wheelchair users.

    What's the programme?

You choose how you use your time. This can be a combination of participating in workshops; researching or writing on your own; meetings with an adviser or just walking and thinking, taking inspiration from the beautiful surroundings. We design our programme by talking to participants beforehand and ensuring we include the elements required such as: discussing your ideas; SWOT analysis; customers and competitors, pricing; cashflow etc. We keep our retreats small (8-12 people) to attend to individual needs.

    When?

The 2024 retreat will be in late Spring .
