Winner of the Judges' Prize and top choice in our People's Prizes in our Spring Open Exhibition, Kelly Ann Holmes is a self-taught mixed media artist specialising in the use of recycled drinks cans. She is a home-grown Nottingham girl and draws a huge amount of inspiration from the incredibly vibrant creative scene the city has to offer.
Her first solo exhibition could at first glance be taken simply as an exercise in portraiture based around the famous and glamorous. However scratching a little below the surface uncovers an exploration of mental health and subsequent addiction. 25% of sales from opening night is being donated by Kelly and THiNK to set up a new fund for Art and Mental Health initiatives.
Visiting the exhibition is FREE and all work is for sale
Thursday - Saturday 10-5pm and Sunday 10-4pm
